Mrs. Laurence Lachausee Viator

Until recently, Mrs. Laurence Lachausee Viator was the oldest person in South Mississippi found by 99 and Beyond. It has been just over a year since the D'Iberville resident died at age 102.

No small accomplishment, all things considered, for the span of a lifetime.

Viator died Oct. 11, 2007, which was a Thursday.

Survivors include daughters Grace Werkau of Biloxi and Regina (Hanzalik) Fortenberry (Lloyd) of Wiggins; sons Warren D. Viator (Anna Mae) of Waveland and James “Donald” Viator (Mabel) of Biloxi; daughter-in-law Beatrice Viator.

A Mass of Christian burial, arranged by Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, was Oct. 15 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with internment at Biloxi City Cemetery.
As of yet, this blog has been unable to find her date of birth, so 99 and Beyond will commemorate the history of Oct. 11 since 1905, and what is planned for that date in 2009.
